This deceptively large house with expansive views was a masterpiece before and after we worked on it. Tasked with matching the interior look of the house to the exterior scenic views of the house, we had to keep the interior clear and open whilst at the same time achieving the feeling of richness and quality.
With the use of varying floors throughout the house, we managed to alter the viewscape at different levels, thereby creating openness and flowing lines. Very few physical walls separating rooms made it easier because the furniture we selected with the owners were all pieces which added to the spaciousness and flow of the house, with no obstructed lines.
All the pieces involved cut lines, from the deep volume loungers in the TV room, to the extra length dark wood kitchen counter to the mirror contours in the bedrooms. This home away from home has become the ultimate third space for this modern-thinking family.
